Nano-bioengineering integrates nanotechnology, biology, and engineering to develop innovative solutions for challenges in healthcare, agriculture, food systems, environmental sustainability, and biocatalysis. Advanced nanosystems such as liposomes, polymeric nanoparticles, and inorganic nanoparticles offer unique physicochemical and biological properties that enable targeted delivery, enhanced stability, and improved functional performance.
These nanomaterials have wide-ranging applications, including precision therapeutics and diagnostics in medicine, sustainable crop management in agriculture, improved food quality and preservation, environmental monitoring and remediation, and enhanced catalytic efficiency in biocatalytic processes. By combining interdisciplinary approaches, nanobioengineering provides sustainable and next-generation technologies with significant scientific and societal impact.
